(eraser bot route included) cooperative : does that still exist anymore? deathmatch : just do it... 5 respawn spots. player load : i would suggest 1-on-1 play. but if you like it hot, try some 3-5 player ffa in it. new graphics/sounds : maybe next time...if there's any. * description * quake2 does not seem to be dead at all. still this will probably be my last map for q2 (or any other 3d-shooter). one last time i tried to combine good playability, pleasant looks and low r-speeds. so, if you still love q2, please find out whether i succeeded or not.... anyway, i want to thank all you guys for your really nice feedback. Mortal Grudge ist a rather small map designed for duel play. but it also supports small groups in a "death from above" free for all. try for yourself, just don't forget to have fun! * construction * base : new level from scratch editors used : Qoole (am i the only one who still uses this?) build time : a few days (as usual) compile time : qbsp 285 secs / qvis 314 secs / qrad 236 secs using my k6 200mhz with 32mb ram known bugs : none * credits * - id Software for quake2. some people still play this game. - the guys who created those cool editors. doh, sometimes i have find out their names... - Tim Wright for ArghRad. great program. - LavaDiver and RailorMoon for their advice and playtesting. - Clan FUF (especially Modac) for helping me to get ohmdm3 ("the quake2 memorial") into the net. * copyright / permissions * you are not allowed to commercially exploit this level, i.e. put it on a cd or any other electronic medium that is sold for money without my explicit permission. i don't think anyone would want to do this anyway... you may distribute this bsp through any electronic network, provided you email me and include this file. * notes * if you'd like to convert this map to q3a, please contact me. i could provide the map file. feel free to email me any suggestions for playability or any other comments. i'd love to get some feedback, so come on guys!
