No more ugly yellow outside areas, a real sun is shining from the bright blue sky. * The map runs smooth, because the average r_speeds even in outside areas is about 400 (with peeks about 500). Most hallways make a U-turn to break the engines view, hint brushes and func_areaportals support this. * All walls are covered with clip brushes - puh, that was a lot of work. * The item placement keeps the players rather well equipped as long as he stays on the move. * An aas-file for the gladiator-bot can be downloaded from my page. Ok, ok now more words, fight and win this map now... _____________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________ HOW TO PLAY _____________________________________________________________________ If you unzip randr.zip, you will see the folders: "maps" (with the bsp-file) and "env" (with the sky-files) So itīs clear, that you have to put "RandR.bsp" to your Quake2\baseq2\maps directory. The folder "env" contains the sky (six tga-files and six pcx-files) Put the 12 files to your: Quake2\baseq2\env directory. Start the game with the console and type: map randr _____________________________________________________________________ THANKS TO * Armin and his team for making Quark * Shane 'Fishman' Sherman, Martin Ka'ai Cluney and Michael N.
