ABOUT THE MAP/ME:

Red Giant is my twenty-nineth Half-Life FPS map (and first for Opposing Forces Capture The Flag.) All of my previous maps can be found at my website; http://www.planethalflife.com/gustavo

Who am I? I'm 26 yrs old, English, and currently work full-time as a level/mission designer for UK-based video games developers Warthog (www.warthog.co.uk)



NOTES:

You cannot use the lifts in the opposing team flag room, only those lifts in your own flag room. In other words, once an attacker has collected the opposing team flag, he has to go the long route via the staircase. The defenders, on the other hand, have the advantage of using either of the two lifts located inside their flag room as a shortcut.



CONSTRUCTION:

Base                    : Created from scratch.
Editor(s) used          : Worldcraft v3.3
Build Time              : Around 25 hours, spread over two months.
Compile Time		: ~30 minutes.
Custom textures		: Yep, a few, created by myself.



INSTALLATION:

All files into ../half-life/gearbox/maps



PERMISSIONS:

Authors MAY NOT use this level as a base to build additional levels.

This level can be distributed by online or printed publication means as long as it remains within the original op4ctf_redgiant.zip file and is not separated from the two accompanying text files.
